MEET ANNA!

Anna Gassett is a New York City-based performer. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, she discovered her passion for performing at 2 years old in her first dance class. Since that time, Anna earned countless top honors in dance competitions and conventions and represented the United States at the IDO Jazz and Contemporary Championships in Warsaw, Poland, earning a Gold and Bronze medal.

Anna recently returned to NYC after seeing the world as “Graziella” on the International Tour of West Side Story. In 2023, Anna appeared on The Muny stage as “Marilyn” in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Beauty and the Beast as the standby for “Babette,” and Chess. Finishing out the summer at Music Theatre Wichita, she played “Evelyn Nesbit” in Ragtime and “Victoria” in Cats.

She graced the stage as Fastrada in Pippin at Texas State University, in the spring of 2023, just before graduating summa cum laude with her BFA in Musical Theatre under the direction of Kaitlin Hopkins.

Anna recently moved to the Big Apple and is signed with the Hybrid Agency. Her goals in the future, aside from personal growth and achievement, include inspiring and uplifting the future generations of young artists to come.
